Happy Labor Day!

Hi everyone! It's been awhile and I am writing to you the day after labor day. Summer is officially over and we had a real strange weekend at the marina. I think it was mostly due to the weather - overcast with high winds from Earl. Well, anyway the LG summer season is done and as anyone around here can tell you it is like the flipping of a switch. Summer crowds on labor day and a ghost town the day after. Poof! Just like that. There will be some busy weekends in September and October, of course. I had a really good summer, busy with work at the marina, but I really had a great time especially with my co-workers. We have been a team for the last six years and it really shows in our camaraderie and efficiency! It was a real pleasure to work with those guys!

Well, I am ready for ski season and my friends and I have been talking about skiing all summer long. It will be here soon! Yea!

I really think we are gonna get the snow!
